Rare Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs Torchiere Floor Lamp

Textured and aged iron floor lamp by Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs stamped 1987. This art deco motif is inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's triptych "window" designed for the Avery Coonley playhouse, of which are now on display in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's American Wing. These lamps had a very limited production run because they were produced in various styles, equating to small quantities of each style and color. This is a halogen lamp with a very short cord, so it will come with a dimmer switch.
