Grow With Georgie

Georgie is growing with intention, and we’re looking for a few people to grow alongside us. We’re seeking part-time Studio Associates who are thoughtful, ambitious, and warm by nature. People who appreciate beautiful things, notice the details, and understand that the way someone feels in a space matters as much as what’s in it.

This role puts you at the heart of the studio experience — welcoming and servicing customers, developing a deep knowledge of both new and existing collections, caring for the space, and helping shape the experience we're creating. Where it goes from there is a little more open. Maybe you’re looking for a few days a month spent doing something you already genuinely enjoy. Or maybe you see yourself getting in on the ground floor of something you’d like to help build.

As the studio evolves, we're making room for the right team to grow with us.

Job Description

Studio Associate
Part Time/Hourly, 1-4 days a week
Potential growth to managerial role possible

This role includes welcoming and assisting customers, processing sales, receiving and merchandising new inventory, fulfilling online orders, overseeing day-to-day e-commerce, and maintaining the studio. You might spend one part of the day helping someone find the right piece and another steaming new arrivals, wrapping an order, refreshing a display, arranging flowers, or getting the studio ready for the weekend.

As a small and growing studio, the work is varied by nature. We're looking for people who are comfortable moving between responsibilities, noticing what needs attention, and take pride in the details.

A Letter From The Owner

When I opened the doors to Georgie Studio back in April, I never expected the response to be as supportive as it has been. The last five months have absolutely blown me away, especially considering that our limited schedule means we’ve only actually been open for a cumulative twelve days. If it weren’t for our incredible customers, I can say with certainty that Georgie would be evolving differently right now, in a way that better accommodated my other full-time job: being a mom to my girls. Instead, our customer's loyalty, encouragement, and continued enthusiasm have allowed me to look at the dreams I’ve always had for Georgie, dreams I’ve admittedly regarded as a little lofty, and begin to see them more tangibly.

And that’s where our new team members come in. Until now, nearly every part of Georgie has passed through my hands. I source the pieces, oversee their restoration, photograph and list them, merchandise the studio, pack the orders, arrange the flowers, open the doors, and welcome the people who walk through them. Building Georgie slowly has allowed me to be incredibly intentional about what it becomes, and I don’t want to lose that as we grow. But I’ve also reached a point where growing Georgie means I can’t continue doing every part of it myself. Bringing on this role will allow me to spend more time sourcing, restoring, creating, and pursuing the ideas for Georgie that I simply haven’t had the capacity to pursue yet. In many ways, entrusting someone else with the day-to-day care of the storefront is what makes the next chapter possible.

I’m looking for people I can trust with the space I’ve spent so much time building. People who will make our customers feel as welcome when I’m not there, as they do when I am. I don’t expect you to care about Georgie in exactly the same way I do, but I do hope you’ll find something here that becomes meaningful to you, too.

If that sounds interesting to you, I’d love to hear from you.
